We are very sorry to announce that the gardens will not be able to open this coming weekend 24/25 February as planned. This was to be our last weekend, but the weather has had other plans for us and after some heavy and constant rain over the past two days, the gardens are now close to being underwater. The flooding has made the paths and the parking field unsafe for use and so the decision, although horrible, is the right one. Please can you pass this message on to anyone who might be planning a trip and in the meantime please do look at the Countryfile piece on Colesbourne Snowdrops which was at the beginning of last Sundays programme on BBC 1 – it is available on BBC iplayer and shows the garden in sunshine… something quite absent at the moment!
